This “light wheel” works as a raffle for door prizes. When a coin is inserted into it, a break-beam sensor triggers the relays to rotate the light wheel around until it lands on a random section. Because this isn’t a gambling machine, the organizer can weight the odds of how often it will land on each section so that they can probabilistically match the number of door prizes on hand to the winners.
